DNEWIQ CORP / Data & privacy
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how DNEWIQ CORP handles website information, direct correspondence and project records. The project-brief form displays a local confirmation; it does not transmit the information you enter.
01. Who this policy covers
DNEWIQ CORP provides editorial and publication design services, including multi-page layout design, typography and reading structure, publication templates, and composition planning. This policy applies to the DNEWIQ website and to personal information you provide when you contact the company about those services. It is intended to explain the actual information flows described below, rather than to imply that every visitor creates an account or makes an online purchase.
DNEWIQ was established on August 11, 2026. Questions about this policy or the handling of your information should be directed to editorial@dnewiq.com. The company address and telephone number appear at the end of this page. A project agreement may contain additional confidentiality or file-handling instructions specific to a publication; those instructions supplement this policy without removing rights that applicable law gives you.
02. The website form
The project-brief form asks for your name, email address, organization or publication, publication type, selected service, and project description. All visible fields must be completed before the confirmation button becomes available. These values are used in your browser to check that the brief is complete. Activating the button displays an on-page message and clears the form; it does not send an email, create a customer record, upload a file, or transmit the brief to DNEWIQ.
The website code does not save the brief in cookies or local storage, add it to analytics events, or log it to the browser console. Information entered before you finish may remain in the open page until you clear it or close the page. Your own browser, extensions or password manager may offer autofill or retain information according to their settings. To provide a brief to DNEWIQ, you must contact the company directly. Do not enter payment information, passwords, government identification numbers or sensitive personal information in this form.
03. Information you send directly
When you email, call or otherwise correspond with DNEWIQ, the company receives the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, business contact details, project requirements, messages, attachments and the identity of a person authorized to approve a publication. If you commission services, project records may also contain proposals, approvals, revision instructions, delivery correspondence, invoices and payment-status information.
Please share only information relevant to the requested service. Publication files may contain personal information about authors, staff or other individuals. Before sending those files, confirm that you have authority to disclose the information for design work and remove material that is unnecessary for the task. A request to handle confidential or especially sensitive content should be discussed before files are transferred, so an appropriate process can be agreed.
04. Technical information and hosting
Like other hosted websites, this website relies on a platform that may process technical information needed to deliver pages and protect its systems. That information can include an IP address, browser and device characteristics, request time, the requested resource, referring information where provided, and diagnostic or security events. The hosting platform may set essential cookies or maintain server records for these purposes.
These pages do not install an independent analytics service, advertising pixel or session-recording tool. The display and body typefaces load through Google Fonts, using fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Requests to the font provider may disclose an IP address, browser request information and a referring page. Publication images load from the website file host. External fonts load when a page opens; optional measurement tools configured elsewhere in the hosting platform are governed separately by the platform privacy settings and the consent controls described in this policy. If the actual integrations change, this policy and the Cookie Policy must be updated to describe the changed processing.
05. How information is used
Information received through direct correspondence is used to understand an inquiry, prepare a proposal, coordinate a project, provide the agreed design services, receive approvals, deliver files and address questions about the work. Relevant records may also be used for invoicing, accounting, resolving a payment or service concern, preventing misuse and meeting applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact information is not used to enroll you in a marketing list merely because you ask about a project.
Technical information supports page delivery, security, reliability and the investigation of errors. Optional analytics, if separately configured and allowed, may support measurement of website use. The website's brief-validation feature processes the entered values locally only to determine whether the form is complete. DNEWIQ does not use this feature to profile visitors or make decisions about their eligibility for services.
06. Cookies and your choices
The privacy banner allows you to accept optional categories, reject them, or choose categories individually. Essential storage remains active because it supports platform operation and remembers your selection. The design stores a preference record named dnewiq-consent-v1 in the browser's local storage for up to 180 days. The record contains category choices, a version number and timing information; it does not contain the contents of your project brief.
Analytics and optional preference categories are off by default in this design. Advertising consent is not enabled. Where Shopify's Customer Privacy controls are available, the selection is also passed to those controls so consent-aware platform features can respect it. You can reopen the panel with Privacy choices in the footer. Rejecting optional categories does not prevent you from reading the site or using the local brief form. The Cookie Policy explains the distinction between this design's storage and the host's storage.
07. Service providers and disclosures
Information may be processed by the providers that are needed for the communication or service you request, such as the website host, an email provider, a file-delivery service or an invoicing or payment provider selected for an agreed project. The information shared should be limited to what the relevant function requires. A provider may also process information under its own terms for operating and securing its service.
DNEWIQ does not sell personal information or provide inquiry information for third-party targeted advertising. Information may be disclosed when required by a valid legal obligation, to investigate a concrete security incident, to protect legal rights, or with your direction or permission. Project files are not made public or used as a public example simply because you submit them for design. Any proposed public use requires a separate agreement with the rights holder.
08. Retention and deletion
The local brief form is not a company archive. Its contents are cleared when the local confirmation is displayed and are not stored by the website code. Privacy choices remain in browser storage until they expire, are replaced, or are removed through browser settings. The preference panel will appear again if the record is missing, invalid or expired.
For information actually received by DNEWIQ, retention depends on its purpose. Inquiry correspondence is kept only as reasonably needed to handle the inquiry and any follow-up. Active project records are needed for delivery, approvals and support for the agreed work. Invoices, agreements and related business records may need to be retained to satisfy applicable obligations or resolve a dispute. A deletion request is considered against those needs; unnecessary information should not be retained merely because it is convenient.
09. Security and international processing
Reasonable care is taken when handling received business information, including limiting access to the people and services that need it for the agreed purpose. No website, email system or file transfer can be guaranteed completely secure. If a project requires a specific secure delivery method, restricted access or a confidentiality agreement, request that arrangement before transmitting the materials. Do not send account credentials or full payment-card details in ordinary project correspondence.
The company is located in the United States. Website, communication and business-service providers may process information in the United States or other locations where their systems operate. The protections and rights available can depend on the applicable law and the circumstances of the processing. DNEWIQ does not claim that every provider keeps every record in a single country. Ask about a required location or transfer restriction before submitting a project that depends on it.
10. Privacy requests and policy changes
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict particular processing. Send your request to editorial@dnewiq.com and describe the relationship or correspondence concerned. Only information reasonably needed to verify and respond to the request should be requested. Some records may need to be retained, and information that DNEWIQ has never received cannot be retrieved from your local form session.
The services and website are intended for business and publication inquiries, not for collecting information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent personal information directly, contact DNEWIQ so the situation can be addressed. This policy may be revised when the website's functions or information practices change. The date at the top identifies the policy version. A material change in an ongoing project should be communicated where appropriate; mandatory privacy rights are not removed by a policy update.
